The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a full time Obstetrician/Gynecologist physician to complete a complement of three full time Obstetricians, at the Aberdeen Regional Hospital, located at 835 East River Road, New Glasgow, NS. This is a full time, permanent position. Compensation is currently under a fee for service arrangement.  

English is the lanuguage of work.

Candidates must be RCPSC or eligibility for Royal College of Canada Certification, and current or eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.

This opportunity is compensated through a fee-for-service arrangement as per the Master Agreement between the Province of Nova Scotia and Doctors Nova Scotia. On average, Obstetricians in fee-for-service arrangements bill approximately $350,000 per year, however your annual income will depend solely on you own clinical output.

A requirement of practicing medicine in Nova Scotia is to become a member of Doctors Nova Scotia. Doctors Nova Scotia offers its members various benefit programs.
