The Northern Zone has opportunities for family physicians to join collaborative practice opportunities in the North Cumberland Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC). Located in Pugwash, this full time Primary Health Care/ED offers a guaranteed income through the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness Family Practice-Nurse Practitioner collaborative practice contract.The full complement at the Pugwash, CEC is three physicians, a NP and a Family Practice Nurse.  It is a turnkey practice supported by an EMR. Pugwash offers a small town atmosphere in a rural setting, and would be an appealing practice opportunity for nature enthusiasts seeking a rewarding work/life balance!

Interested physicians must obtain ATLS, ACLS, PALS and advanced Airway training. Candidates must be eligible for certification by Canadian College of Family Physicians and must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.
