Roseway Hospital (RH), located in the quaint Town of Shelburne, is looking for an Emergency Department physician. The hospital provides health care services to approximately 15,000 Shelburne County residents with the Emergency Department open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is an opportunity to provide office-based comprehensive primary care and inpatient care as well. Compensation for the Emergency Department is an hourly rate.

RH provides health care services to approximately 15,000 Shelburne County residents including inpatient, outpatient, and satellite care as well as primary, ambulatory, and emergency care.

Conveniently located an hour from the Yarmouth Ferry and just two hours from Halifax, on Nova Scotia’s beautiful South Shore, the Town of Shelburne is a unique, rural community with a lot to experience.   The town of Shelburne, with a population of just under 2,000, provide unique experiences that are rich in culture and adventure while providing places to relax and unwind in a surrounding of historic treasures, wilderness and beauty. The scenery in Shelburne is breathtaking. Miles of forests surrounding crystal lakes and crashing ocean. The air is fresh and clear.  Due to its coastal location and the moderating influence of the Atlantic Ocean, Shelburne's climate is relatively temperate without major extremes in temperature.
