We are currently seeking a family physician for the Town of Barrington, located on the southwest part of Nova Scotia. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative manner with other physicians in the community and to be a preceptor with residents. The physicians will be expected to provide office-based comprehensive primary care as well as inpatient coverage at Roseway Hospital in nearby Shelburne. Emergency Room coverage at Roseway Hospital would be an asset. Currently, compensation is fee-for-service.

Located on the southwestern tip of Nova Scotia, the Town of Barrington is known as the lobster capital of Canada. With just over 6,600 residents, Barrington is approximately 45 minutes east of Yarmouth, two hours from Digby, and two and a half hours from the city of Halifax.   This region is home to culinary experiences thanks to the freshest seafood around. Enjoy outdoor adventures, engaging museums, beautiful white sand beaches, and majestic lighthouses. There’s something for everyone in the Barrington Municipality!
