We are actively recruiting for a full-time family physician for a well-established busy group practice with two other physicians, NP and FPN in the community of New Minas.  The physician will be expected to participate in office-based primary care and in-patient rota at the Valley Regional Hospital. Depending on your professional interests, physicians may shape their practice to include: inpatient care, obstetrical services, hospitalist work, ER coverage, surgical assists to name a few services available to participate. Physicians have an opportunity to work as a preceptor with medical students and residents as well. Compensation is through fee-for-service with an option to possibly convert to an Alternative Payment Plan.

Candidates must be certified or be eligible for certification by College of Family Physicians of Canada and maintain certification of competency. As well, candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.

Support is available for site visits and relocation.
