We are looking for a full-time family physician to be aligned with an established collaborative practice in Berwick that offers a full range of comprehensive primary health care services. The physician will participate in office-based primary care and in-patient rota at the Valley Regional Hospital, support the community after-hours clinic and nursing home care as well as have collaborative opportunities within the community health centre. A significant portion of patients are from the First Nation community in the area, continuity of the care of this population is important. Physicians have an opportunity to work as a preceptor with medical students and residents. Currently, this is a fee-for-service position.

Candidates must be certified or be eligible for certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and maintain certification of competency. As well, candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.

Support is available for a site visit and relocation.
