A full time General Radiologist is needed to join our dynamic group at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital (YRH). YRH was originally founded in 1912 and has developed into a vast health care complex serving the 58,000 people of Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Digby Counties. Our high quality practice is fully PACs integrated and comprised of general radiology (including DR), digital fluoroscopy, mammography (regional center for breast screening with a fixed Digital Mammographic unit and one mobile unit), ultrasound (four units), 64 slice GE multi-detector CT, GE 1.5T MRI, nuclear medicine with SPECT-CT, and bone densitometry.

Located in Yarmouth, YRH has 124 inpatient beds and provides a range of primary and secondary services through in-patient, outpatient and satellite programs:

  • Dalhousie School of Nursing
  • veteran’s unit
  • chronic pain clinic
  • kidney clinic

Duties would include x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography and some nuclear medicine. Light (non-vascular) interventional would be desirable.

  • Remuneration is above average
  • 12 plus weeks of vacation/conference time per year

Eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)

Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)

Eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
