About This Opportunity
Sydney Primary Care Medical Clinic is seeking a family physician to join their collaborative team of five family physicians, one nurse practitioner, one registered nurse, one licensed practical nurse, one social worker, and one dietician.This clinic has reception staff and an office manager. It is fully integrated on the EMR System and is also an academic practice that works with Dalhousie University.
Responsibilities
- work a full scope of practice as a family physician
- provide care for patients at all stages of life
- care for inpatients at CBRH
- consult and refer to other medical practitioners
- act as a patient advocate
- prescribe and administer medications, treatments, inoculations, and vaccinations
Expected Hours
- full-time: 37.5 hours per week
- on call requirement
- 46 weeks per year
- four weeks vaction
- two weeks of continuing medical education
