The clinic is located within our recently renovated community hospital. It is a collaborative practice with a Family Practice Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Pharmacist and Social Worker. There is easy access to lab and x-ray services and a network of supportive specialist colleagues from the nearby regional center. This locum opportunity can be shaped around your schedule and interests.
Funding is through the rural locum program with a guaranteed daily rate as well as remuneration for travel. The minimum guaranteed daily rate is $800 per day, with a $175 per diem daily rate. A locum physician can cover for another physician for a maximum of 30 days per year. The community is enthusiastic and eager to make new physicians feel welcome and can assist in finding accommodations if needed.
