About This Opportunity

Pictou West Health Centre is seeking a family physician to cover a year of maternity leave beginning May 2023. Pictou West Health Centre is an NSH Collaborative Practice with a team of family physicians, nurse practitioners, family practice nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals. There is welcomed opportunity to participate in the Hospitalist program at the Aberdeen Regional as well. See clinic video tour here.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • participate in on call shifts 
  • provide inpatient care

Expected Hours

  •  full time, part time 
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 46 weeks per year
  • four weeks vacation
  • two weeks Continuing Medical Education (CME)
