Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Chiedza lived in South Africa and the United States before moving to Canada. Chiedza’s move to Canada was initially born out of a love for travel and living in different places. Through her travels, she fell in love with Nova Scotia and decided to make it home. Chiedza’s favorite thing about living in Nova Scotia is summer, noting that although the summer season is short, it is worth waiting for!
Chiedza has completed a Bachelor in Business Management and IT (BBMIT), Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA), Masters in Business Administration (MBA), and currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration. When she was a child, she wanted to be a physician specializing in cardiology.
Her favorite part of the job is when a physician chooses a practice opportunity, she gets to look back at the journey with the physician from the first meeting, through the site visits, to the final choice of the clinic.
“There is a lot of growth and understanding that happens in that time, and I have learnt that each physician is unique and is looking for different things in their practice,” explained Chiedza. “It is those differences that makes every encounter memorable. It is even more special when their family is involved in part of the process.”
A fun fact about Chiedza is that someday she would love to build a snowman that actually looks like a snowman.
